As software becomes increasingly complex and interconnected, the risks associated with insecure development practices are more significant than ever. The CONSOLE project addresses this challenge by providing a unified platform that helps software developers integrate advanced cybersecurity practices from the earliest stages of development. From static analysis to back testing, CONSOLE aims to support teams in identifying vulnerabilities before they reach production.
plugpoint is part of CONSOLE as one of the three Pilots. As a provider of eMobility software solutions, we are testing the CONSOLE platform directly within our systems, which manage electric vehicle charging infrastructure and EV drivers across both private and public networks. By applying the tools in a real-world, industry-specific context, we are testing how to prevent vulnerabilities and reduce potential attack surfaces. These improvements are especially relevant for companies like Plugpoint that handle sensitive user data, process payments, and interact with hardware in dynamic environments.
During the project, plugpoint contributes to the validation of how the CONSOLE platform affects pilot implementations in practice. Our team works alongside consortium partners to help shape evaluation procedures. This includes assessing improvements in secure development workflows, cost efficiency, and readiness to address threats before software is deployed.
We’re proud to collaborate with industry and academic partners on tools that help developers adopt a security-by-design approach from day one.
Stay tuned for more updates about the CONSOLE project and our efforts to improve digital resilience.
